Community owners and moderators love welcoming new members, it's true. What we love even more, though, is seeing those new members interacting within the community!!

You joined, you said hi, now go do something! Here are three ideas, think of it like being in a big networking event, where you introduce yourself to a group of people and then have to spend the rest of your time interacting with them:

1) Use the search tool to look for a burning question you have, maybe it was asked and answered already. If so, leave a comment on that post so show your appreciation.

2) Browse through the categories and leave comments on posts that interest you.

3) Check out the profiles of community members who pique your interest with their posts and comments. Add them to your circles so you can follow their posts outside the community too, and start to build a relationship.

This place is here for you, make use of it by being social and getting to know each other!

They were in town this week for their moms birthday and said "Hey, how come you don't use that for your HOA background?"

Do I need to send them a link right before I begin or can they just join with the link they received upon invite? This free video guide on using the Google+ Traditional Event method of running a Hangout on Air broadcast has some extra features that the other 2 methods do not.

This is video 3 of 3 in the AllAboutHangouts.com Free Quickstart series. This set of 3 free videos is designed to walk you through the most common ways to start up a HOA (Hangout on Air) broadcast. Oddly enough, though all 3 methods create an "Event" of some kind, this is the only method that starts out on the Google+ Event Page. YouTube AutoPlay - coming to a screen near you!
As Facebook seems to really push how many video views they are causing with videos uploaded to FB (due to autoplay), YouTube has decided to play that same game. This post speaks to how Marketers can possibly make their 'other videos' tag-team in the new auto-play world.

Greg Jarboe writes up some good advice re. how adjusting your Meta Data (read Titles, Descriptions & Tags) can possibly influence which videos are chosen as "related" and thereby have a better chance at joining the Autoplay feature.

Those of us that have been poking at YouTube for a while were aware of these ideas in order to try to get our videos 'related' to each other, but now there is another reason to apply these tactics. This post does a great job explaining what to try.

My passions are Video/TV Production, Broadcast Television and Website Design. I discovered the Internet in 1995, during the early years following a near fatal auto accident in the State of Hawaii, where I lived for 20+ years.

Prior to the auto accident, I was a Civil Engineer and my hobbies were making jewelry and producing LIVE TV shows. Back then the equipment to take a video production live cost in the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of dollars!

I have been waiting almost 30 years for the hardware and software that would make it affordable for me to produce LIVE shows.

Thanks for allowing me to join U2U.All this time, I thought I was already here (LOL)! Thanks for posting the URL in bright yellow text!!!!

I am still establishing my bearings. My Google+ accounts are not functioning as I would like them. I want a business page and a personal page , but am having difficulty figuring out how to do that because I had multiple Gmail accounts and YouTube Channels BEFORE Google+ came along.

Not sure if I should be using business or personal here.

As soon as I sort it all out, I will update my stuff to conform with the User2User requirements.

The last few weeks whenever I am waiting for an HOA to start I have to keep refreshing my screen.

The last few weeks whenever I am waiting for an HOA to start I have to keep refreshing my screen. Even when the countdown timer is finished it never shows live UNTIL I refresh. I don't remember having to do that before. You would wait for the time to end and POP the event would be live.

Anyone going to be hanging out in Business Hangouts tonight. I dont have a pressing question I was just wondering

I tried to do a BHO today to train two new people.

I tried to do a BHO today to train two new people. I wasn't able to make them a participant and they stayed as a viewer. They were not able to hear me at all. I had to try to help them and then finally gave up and created a gotomeeting. I have another one to give at 8pm now. Is anyone available to help me?

What's the easiest way to get someone in a Hangout started on the YouTube side "if" they don't have a gmail account?

I'm afraid they may not want to go to the trouble to set up a profile.
