I've got another question: Any suggestions if I want to do a HOA with another person and we are both in the same location.

  1. Nina Amir I'm unclear as to your meaning of "same location".
    Same state?
    Same City?
    Same Building?
    Same Office?
    Same Lunch Table?

As far as I know it doesn't matter. anyway...
    as someone never said...
"A HOA is a HOA is a HOA"

    :)

  2. Nina Amir As far as I know you'd follow the same procedure as holding any other HOA.

  3. In the same room Nina Amir ...get up and do a HRL..lol.
Actually there could be some bandwidth issues. Just to be clear the term HOA means it is being recorded as opposed to just a regular hangout. HOA's require a significant amount of upload speed to keep audio &video in sync while send all this to Youtubes servers.
To do a quick bandwidth  test go here:

Do this test while you are in the HOA then get the other person join and test again.
Here are the minimum technical requirements straight from Google:
    Processor Minimum Requirements:

Any 2 GHz dual core processor or greater.
    Bandwidth

    For 1:1 connections we suggest a 1 mbps/1 mbps (up/down)
For group video connectivity we suggest 1 mbps/2 mbps (up/down)

The bandwidth used by Hangouts is adaptive and will vary to provide the best experience for the given conditions of the participants’ network. Here is a guide for the minimum and maximum bandwidth requirements and expectations:

    Minimum bandwidth required:

Outbound from the participant: 256 kbps
Inbound to the participant: 512 kbps
Ideal bandwidth for the best experience:

Outbound from the participant: 1 mbps
Inbound to the participant: 2.5 mbps
With group video calls of more than 2 people you can expect bandwidth usage in ideal situations to be:

Outbound from the participant in all situations: 900kbps
Inbound to the participant with 5 participants: 2mbps
Inbound to the participant with 10 participants: 3mbps
