HOA's require a significant amount of upload speed to keep audio &video in sync while send all this to Youtubes servers. To do a quick bandwidth test go here: http://www.speedtest.net/?s=1247&utm_source=mini&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=Mini Do this test while you are in the HOA then get the other person join and test again. Here are the minimum technical requirements straight from Google: Processor Minimum Requirements:

For 1:1 connections we suggest a 1 mbps/1 mbps (up/down) For group video connectivity we suggest 1 mbps/2 mbps (up/down)
