CORRECTION TO POST
On May 2nd I posted about the new $169 Asus C201 Chromebook (https://plus.google.com/u/0/101486004679658584691/posts/WKt69FksZj1).
I took that information from a post made on May 1, 2015 by Justin Diaz (http://www.androidheadlines.com/2015/05/asus-launches-their-rockchip-powered-c201-chromebook-with-up-to-13-hours-of-battery-life.html).
The information about inclusion of an Ethnert port and a USB 3.0 port have since proved to be in error and neither are included in the production models of the Asus C201.
Dr Margaret Aranda Thanks for your kind words about the community, they are greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteMelita Noël Cantú Since there is no Ethernet port on the Chromebook you'll have to get a USB/Ethernet converter ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AQM8586/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and since USB ports are limited I'd suggest a Powered USB hub ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DQFGH80/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) as well. This will allow you to plug in the C920, the Ethernet converter, the headset/earbuds and one other device into the hub and plug the hub into one of your 2 USB ports on the chromecook and still have USB port open on your machine. This is the setup I use on my Chromebox and will use on my two chromebooks as well.
