Events are now on the new G+ and the link to the classic version is gone! Events is just a link to the Classic page, nothing new at all... and when the link posts is is just a post with a link.. nothing fancy.. it definitely needs work!
Yep- along with those dreadful apps (Showcase, Applause, Q&A)! :)
