I backed up about 800 of my G+ Profile Posts with the free version of G+ Exporter
I used the free version of G+ Exporter today. I left them all as drafts, except one, and made the blog unlisted. It was pretty simple, surprisingly. https://gplusmb.blogspot.com/
The exporter should work until the end of this month, or until the API gets unplugged. Not sure of the timeline, but it will be nice to have the memories.
Well, I've tried it on Communities (both those I own and those I'm just a member of), Collections, and G+ Pages... and they all seem to work fine. Best $20 I think I've even spent except for Zoom :)
Mark, Thanks for sharing this. Good to know it actually works as planned.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could +1 these posts just to let you know I'm reading them. I'm getting the email notifications just fine.

DeleteI'm glad. All of you put so much work into the community that it's nice to know that it's not going to disappear
DeleteJust tried it and except for some oversized pics it works fine- I'm buying it so I can grab everything!
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful
DeleteI read somewhere that the API should work until the 28th or so , but that could change any time depending on their mood :)
