Thanks Heather Kraafter I was told that you can change your background for HOAs and was curious to try this out (looking for more options than black and white). Michael Daniels I'd like to learn the difference between an HOA and a business hangout. The purpose for this would be for a weekly show I am co-hosting.
As far as I know Myste Lyn Business Hangouts is the only app offering the change and it is black or white for viewers.
It is less of "differences" and more of one (HOA) is a product offered by Google. It is a way to broadcast using your webcam. BHOA is an app ON TOP of the HOA program that allows you to do much more than just broadcast using your webcam.
some of the MANY features include: ~Hosting on a website with commenting all in one location as a part of the embed. ~Bringing in those comments as a part of the live show. ~allowing folks from different social sites to watch and interact, Facebook, Linked In and G+ ~show the live audience video, interactive websites and forms and presentations, advertisements etc. ~Host private events and charge for registration if desired. ~Collection of viewer's data to help you grow your list of clients and reach the people that you know are watching.
Simple things like, ~seeing the people who are viewing live. ~Knowing who registered but did not attend ~Being able to send thank you letters and we missed you letters after the show ~moderation/collaboration with fellow show hosts
